Toy factory RFQ for US buyers
A useful toy RFQ tells the factory the product, target price band, MOQ, materials, age grade, and that US shipments require CPSC-accepted testing plus a CPC issued by the importer. Vague “need factory” messages attract the wrong mills.
RFQ fields that matter
- Photos + rough BOM.
- Age grade and channels (Amazon US, etc.).
- MOQ and monthly volume guess.
- Who pays for CPSIA testing.
- Sample lead time and tooling expectations.
Next step
Post an RFQ or request intros via ShadowOps suppliers after you register as an importer — opt-in factories respond with real contacts, not scraped directories.
Questions people ask
Should the factory issue the CPC?
No. You issue it as importer after testing.
Do I mention Amazon TIC?
Yes if you sell toys on Amazon — factories should expect documentation discipline.
