Walmart WFS and children’s product CPCs
Walmart Marketplace and WFS sellers of children’s products are still selling under US CPSIA rules. Expect requests for Children’s Product Certificates and supporting CPSC-accepted lab reports — organize them the same way you would for Amazon, even when the portal UI differs.
What to keep ready
- CPC in importer/vendor name.
- Full lab report PDFs.
- Consistent product IDs across item setup and certificates.
Questions people ask
Is Amazon CPC enough for Walmart?
The legal CPC is the same document type, but each retailer may ask on its own timeline. Keep files reusable.
Does WFS change who issues the CPC?
No. The importer or domestic manufacturer still certifies.
