Silicone kids products CPC
Testing focus
- CPSIA phthalates and lead on any non-silicone components (plastic rings, paints).
- ASTM F963 when toy-like (bath toys, squish characters).
- Small parts and durability for intended age grade.
- Colorants and additives — specify platinum vs peroxide cure to the lab.
Certification notes
Do not cite FDA-only statements on the CPC. Cite CPSIA/ASTM rules the CPSC-accepted lab actually tested. Keep material supplier LOAs in your technical file.

Questions people ask
Is all silicone automatically safe for babies?
No material is automatic — testing and age-appropriate design still govern compliance and Amazon acceptance.

Only if the lab scope explicitly includes all pigments and batches; otherwise sample each production color.
