Book CPSC-accepted lab testing
Before you request a quote
- List every rule you expect to cite (toy standard, lead, phthalates, small parts, flammability, etc.).
- Describe age grade, materials, colorways, and whether batteries or magnets are present.
- Confirm samples match what will ship — not a “pretty” prototype that differs from production.
What a useful quote includes
- CPSC acceptance scope for each rule.
- Turnaround in business days and what delays it.
- Report language and whether Amazon TIC / marketplace formats are supported.
- Variant pricing (extra colors, materials, accessories).
After the report lands
Issue the CPC in your name citing exactly what the report covers, store both documents, and register your company if you want ShadowOps lab-booking intros or factory sourcing next.
Questions people ask
Can the lab issue my CPC?
Some prepare drafts; legally the importer or domestic manufacturer issues the certificate. Generate the final PDF yourself from the report.
How long does booking take?
Quote replies are often 1–3 days; testing is commonly 1–3 weeks once samples arrive. Complex electronics or multi-rule plans take longer.
