Phthalates testing for kids products

CPSIA restricts certain phthalates in children’s toys and child care articles. CPSC-accepted labs test accessible plasticized materials for regulated phthalates at defined limits. Your CPC must cite the correct rule sections and only cover materials and SKUs represented in the report — swapping to a “soft touch” PVC without retest is a common failure mode.
