Brand Registry and kids compliance

Amazon Brand Registry helps protect trademarks and unlocks brand tools, but it does not satisfy CPSIA. Registered kids brands still upload CPC/lab pairs, respond to Account Health, and maintain tracking labels. The win is operational: tie Brand Registry ASINs to a single compliance vault so new variations inherit documented test scope instead of starting from zero.
Register company + vault

Use Registry data for compliance

  • Map registered ASIN families to report numbers in an internal matrix.
  • Flag unauthorized sellers who list your SKU without valid docs — separate from CPC work but protects brand.
  • Coordinate new SKU launches with Project Zero / transparency where relevant — not a CPC substitute.

Common brand-owner mistakes

Assuming enrollment blocks compliance requests, or uploading US CPCs to child ASINs in EU marketplaces without local conformity files.

Questions people ask

Does Transparency replace tracking labels?

No — different programs. CPSIA tracking marks remain mandatory on children’s products.

Can I delegate compliance to authorized resellers?

Certifying party remains importer/manufacturer — resellers need your reports or their own testing if they import.
